
I worked in a team to create a 3D game in an isometric point of view for Wildlands Zoo, Emmen, as a case study for an university project. The project won the award for best game for marketing purposes among the 1st year students.
My contribution to this project was to be the Scrum Master I initiated sprint reviews, new sprints, daily standups, checked the status of tasks, made sure the teammates were doing their tasks, planned urgent meetings and coordinated testing plans for user testing. Also, I helped the Product Owner to maintain their responsibilities.
I was the Lead Character Designer for NPCs where I made the NPC models and animal assets including UV unwrapping, texture maps and animation. I gave guidance to other teammates on animation of the characters and design of animal assets to maintain the same art style. I made the dialogue for Abdul , the main NPC, for different states of quests.
Moreover, I collaborated with the Lead UI Designer on creating the HUD and made UI illustrations for key binds for the mechanics of the game.
I coded scripts for picking up items, pop up interaction and highlighting objects using a particle system.
